It is well apportioned, surrounded by footpaths and walkways with no steps anywhere in the grounds or building. The foyer is impressive with its high ceilings finished in wood, with lots of natural light and views of the reception rooms. All corridors have handrails for added safety.
The bedrooms offer comfort and easy movement residents and well equipped with specially designed ensuite toilet which and shower facilities. Each room is fully furnished and has a telephone point and a nurse call-bell. We encourage residents to bring their own belongings to create a ‘Homely’ feel.
Our enclosed garden allows residents to enjoy the outdoors in a safe and beautiful environment.
The lounge is specifically designed with recreational activities in mind, such as card games, bingo, musical entertainment and TV.
The library is located next to the lounge where residents may read in peace or bring visitors for a chat. The conservatory is located at the end of the middle wing and overlooks extensive rolling countryside.
The Oratory is designed to be a calming place to facilitate reflection and meditation. It will also provide for organised multidenominational worship and services. Mass is celebrated weekly by local clergy.
